Program:
At around 8:00 AM, we will meet you at your hotel and transfer you to Marmaris Harbor, where you will board the 9:00 AM ferry for Rhodes (about two hours). Right after you arrive, we will take you on a guided tour of the island.
The island of Rhodes is shaped like a spearhead, is 79.7 km-long and 38 km-wide with a total area of approximately 1,398 km² (540 square miles) and a coastline of approximately 220 km. Rhodes Town is located at the far northern end of the island, not far from the harbor.
Some of the most important monuments on Rhodes island include the Acropolis of Lindos, the Acropolis of Rhodes, Ancient Ialysos, ancient Kamiros, the Archaeological Musem, the Elaphos & Elaphina Hotel, the Governor's Palace, Rhodes Old Town (Medieval City), Rhodes post office and St. Catherine's Hospice. Also worth visiting are the Castle of Monolithos and the Castle of Kritinia.
After lunch, you will be free to explore Rhodes on your own. We'll depart the island at 4:00 PM and arrive in Marmaris at about 4:30 PM. After arrival, we will provide a transfer to your hotel.
