Itinerary:
Your tour guide will meet you at the harbor - and will be holding a sign with your name on it; you will then begin your guided tour.
Nafplion is situated on the Argolic Gulf in the northeast Peloponnese; most of its charming old town is on a peninsula jutting into the gulf.
Nafplion was Greece's first capital from 1829 to 1834.
During the tour, you will visit Syntagma Square (Constitution Square), Catholic Church and the 1702 Church of Agios Spyidon, Palamidi Fortress. Then we will visit the local art museum to enjoy a comprehensive display of folk costumes and traditional textile production techniques.
We will then cap off our day at a wine shop, tasting wonderful local wine paired with Greek-style mezes (appetizers).
After the tour, we will provide a transfer back to the harbor.
